    dated areas

    While the creaking from the historical home adds to its charm, it can be a bit disruptive at night. Overall, it feels slightly dated in some areas, which may not suit everyone's taste. The other common areas felt a bit cramped, leaving little room for mingling or relaxation.

    comfy master bedroom
    private concert
    delicious breakfasts
    pricey stay

    The master bedroom was super comfy, and Joe's private concert was a highlight. We explored The Elms and Stanton Hall, and even hiked around nearby. Joe is an amazing host, and the breakfasts are not to be missed!

    The only downside was that it was slightly pricier than we expected, but considering the experience, it was worth it.

    charming suite
    delicious breakfast
    historical exploration
    lack of kids' activities

    We enjoyed our stay in the charming Family Suite with its lovely antiques and cozy ambiance. The mornings started brilliantly with Joe's delicious hot breakfast, served on beautiful china, in the delightful dining room. We also loved exploring the nearby historical homes and having a fun time in the billiard room.

    For dads, it would be great to have some more activities for kids.

    distinctive breakfasts

    Couples seeking a unique experience

    This place was different, and wow, breakfasts served on fine china? That’s royal treatment you don't forget. The old home was filled with charm and Joe's piano concerts were a treat we didn't see coming.

    It wasn't inexpensive,, but considering the experience, it was worth it.
